The next Shelbourne Wedding Forum takes place on Thursday 20th February, from 6.30 – 9.00 pm, which will see some of the country’s most respected experts in their field contributing their experience and sharing their knowledge on their specialised aspect of the big day.

Beginning with drinks and canapés in the hotel’s luxurious Adams Suite with its spectacular views of St. Stephen’s Green, the evening will examine in detail many of the key elements that go to make an unforgettable day. The Shelbourne Wedding Forum is a tried and tested formula that has calmed the nerves and inspired the imagination of many Shelbourne brides-to-be! From menu selection and food and wine tips with head chef Garry Hughes, to beauty ideas and advice, to idyllic honeymoon destinations and romantic travel plans, the Wedding Forum also showcases some of the most stunning bridal fashion creations available anywhere.

An exciting addition to the February Wedding Forum is the new team of in-house florists at the Shelbourne. One of the most spectacular and striking elements of the décor at The Shelbourne is the distinctive and elegant selection of floral displays throughout the hotel. Brides attending the February Wedding Forum will benefit form the vast knowledge of head florist Mary O’Reilly and her team. From buttonholes to the all-important bridal bouquet, table centers to thank-you bouquets, the florists at The Shelbourne offer full packages and bespoke arrangements.

Bridal boutique Myrtle Ivory will showcase a capsule collection of stunning dresses from their selection of luxurious designer gowns available in 2014. With designs including gorgeous new season fashions from Ines Di Santo, Stephanie Allin, David Fielden and Amanda Wakeley, this is an opportunity to see these exquisite couture creations up close and personal.

Makeup artist Ken Boylan will be on hand with helpful makeup tips and tricks to ensure that every bride is beautifully blushing, travel expert Pól O’Conghaile will talk through heavenly honeymoon destinations, one of Ireland’s hottest fashion stylists and The Shelbourne’s own Style Butler Marietta Doran will provide style advice, and all with the added glamour and experience brought by the compère on the evening, TV3’s Sybil Mulcahy.

With each expert providing advice that includes cost saving in their area, trends and insider tips, this is a fabulous opportunity to indulge in an evening of invaluable information, demonstrations and fascination, with a seamless blend of practical advice from experts and to-die-for dream dresses.
