Welcome to another Fun Wedding Friday where we inject some fun into your weekend ahead! This week we’re looking at the secrets to a fun wedding. These are not so much secrets as they are ideas for weddings that really work. Here are 4 secrets to a fun wedding:
Get Your Guests Involved
People love being able to contribute and put their creative stamp on something. This includes your wedding too! Why not start with the invitations to your big day? Email or include a question about something they would like at the reception. We love the idea of asking them to request a song!
Keep The Kids Entertained
Making sure the little ones are occupied for the night will free up all the grown ups to relax and hopefully hit the dance floor. Arrange sitters to come in for the little ones (many hotels often have in house child minders they can recommend) or designate an area for them to play. Don’t forget to make sure they’re occupied with packs or something fun to keep them entertained!
Someone To Plan on The Day
Having a load of fun events on the day is one thing, but making sure they all arrive on time, get paid and have been fed if necessary. Either make sure your bridesmaid or a coordinator from your reception is there to check everything off this list!
Seating Arrangements
This may seem obvious, but nonetheless is very important. Seating guests with people you know will get along will be crucial to their enjoyment. This means taking into consideration how out going they are and their generation. So, seat your college or school friends near the same area and put your teenage cousins or siblings near people close to their age rather than their parents.
