Instead of waiting to hear back from many suppliers, having one-point-of contact will make such a difference. Plus, a planner has done this a thousand times over and already knows who the best of the best are.
Make Calls at Lunch or in Transit
The best thing about over the phone catch-ups is that you can travel and do other things at the same time. Call for your enquiries with venues or updates from suppliers during lunch while making your tea or grabbing a bite to eat. Or, make calls over the phone in the car or bus (just remember your handsfree).
