We’ve reported something interesting from our friendly ghost friend, Lady Isabella, at Ballygally Castle Hotel recently… a make over! The 17th century four-star stunning venue located on the scenic Antrim coast facing Ballygally Bay is currently under some refurbishment.
The project is running for five months with their grand re-opening due for Sunday 6th April 2014. According to Stephen Perry, General Manager of this Hastings Hotel, it’s due to be an exciting refurbishment, keeping in mind its ever popular homely feel that the castle hotel is renowned for.
“In the make over, we are going to refurb and extend our function room, reception area and public space of the hotel so that more folks can enjoy some afternoon tea whilst overlooking Ballygally Bay.”
The friendly ghost, Lady Isabella, who is renowned for haunting Ballygally Castle, has even set up her own blog, called Rebuilding Ballygally Castle, to keep us up to date with refurbishment photos and insider peeks (do ghosts have iPhones too?)!
She’s also updating The Hastings Hotels Instagram and Facebook page with updates and teasers!
We are so excited to see what this 17th century stunning and hauntingly beautiful spot will look like come April. We have no doubt it will be a knockout!
