Things You Cannot Avoid on Your Wedding Day

Things You Cannot Avoid on Your Wedding Day

When it comes to a wedding day, you can plan your big day down to the second, but there are some things that just cannot be avoided. Here are some roadblocks to look out for on your wedding. Once you accept that these could actually happen, it will be so much easier to accept it and come up with suitable alternatives.

Rain

Sorry, it’s just unavoidable. The good news is firstly; it’s good luck! But as well as this, we are pretty used to this type of weather, so we know what to expect. Plus, a great photographer will have suitable alternatives for wedding photography no matter the climate.

Someone is a Little Too Merry

There’s always one who can’t handle the celebrations! It’s to be expected but doesn’t have to ruin your night. Remind your DJ and Wedding Team not to let anyone, besides those who are making speeches to get to the mic and you should be fine.

Soooooo Tired

Yep, it’s a long day. Most brides and grooms won’t get a restful night’s sleep before the wedding. Then after that, it’s an early start with make-up, hair and getting to the church on time. That is just the tip of the ice-berg; the day is ALL GO from there! Photos, speeches, mass, food, dancing, drinking (not in that order of course). There should really be a mandatory wedding siesta allowed for the day. While it is non-stop, making sure you are hydrated and fed will help you along the day. Ask your Wedding Team to keep back some appetizers for you while you are having your wedding photos taken.

A Guest That Thinks They’re on Four Weddings

“UGH. Stop complaining. Your food wasn’t right, there was no complimentary bar, you don’t like the DJ…. Well it’s just as good that it’s not your wedding day then!“

That’s what we would love to say to overly critical guests because unfortunately there’s always one. You could have the best day ever and there will be someone who just didn’t like it. You can’t please everyone, but once you accept this, that is kind of okay too.
