Just a quick note to let you folks know that one of our favorite Country House wedding venues – Horetown House will be exhibiting at the Johnstown Castle Wedding Fair in Co. Wexford this Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th September.
The connection between the two venues is that the last ever wedding to take place in the Castle was in 1914 when Lady Fitzgerald, the daughter of the castle owners got married in the castle to Major Lakin, the owner of Horetown House at the time. Horetown House then became their marital home.
