ready for the ceremony, and checking in with us to ensure we didn’t need anything else (even the day after when they had another wedding on we were still treated like the most important people there) and just providing the best service throughout the entire process.
They did everything exactly how we wanted and it turned out perfect! Everyone was incredibly flexible and accommodating to what we wanted for our wedding!
The food was excellent, being able to choose what you want to eat on the day (and offering seconds) just gave it that lil extra that you don’t get at other venues! The location is what made us choose the Lodge but the staff, food and service is what will ensure we will go back for another visit! Highly recommend!!

We always wanted all of our wedding party to travel together in a limo so the cars being part of the package wasn’t going to be a benefit for us, but we didn’t miss out we got to have the Rolls Royce at the beach for photos and arrive at the hotel in it!
Madeline and her team were amazing on the day and everything went smoothly! The staff went over and above, including a lovely waitress who pushed my sister’s baby back and forth whilst she and her husband had dinner!

Both of our families stayed down the night before and honestly from the moment we arrived, every member of staff treated us like royalty. Nothing was too much bother for any of them and they all put us completely at ease.

day itself ran so smoothly, we literally had nothing to worry about. Everything was taken care of and we could just be in the moment and enjoy our day. All of our guests commented on the lovely atmosphere at the Lodge and how brilliant all the staff were. The views from the hotel and having the beach just around the corner meant we were lucky enough to have the most incredible natural backdrop for all of our photographs and we didn't have to go too far.

The wedding team of Madeleine, Lauren and Ron are absolutely amazing at what they do! We booked our wedding in October 2019 and tried to plan it through Covid. Through the ever-changing rules and regulations, we really thought we would have to compromise on so much but the three of them took all the stress away from us and made sure that our day was everything we dreamed it would be. From the moment we booked our wedding to the day itself we had constant contact with the wedding team and they did regular check-ins with us to see how we were getting on with the planning and advising us as best they could when the regulations kept changing.

Do not hesitate to book this amazing hotel as your wedding venue, it will be the best decision you make!

The hotel and spa are spotless. We had the most amazing, relaxing weekend, and we can’t thank you all enough. We wish we could thank you all 1000 times over. What you people do to make wedding days special is second to none.

After months of me stressing over planning our big day , I had the most relaxing day knowing all was in good hands. Everything went so smoothly and I was able to enjoy every moment.

My bridal party and I had our makeup done in the hotel and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Whilst my husband and groomsmen enjoyed a leisurely morning in the spa before the ceremony.

The food was fantastic & the evening buffet went down a treat. We have had compliments galore from our guests.

Our bridal suite had the most beautiful view & we came back to a lovely surprise of cake and snacks in our room waiting for us.

The way the wedding team looked after us and our three kids as the VIPs of the day was amazing and honestly I felt like my experience was so valued and important to them.

Thank you Madeleine, Ron and Kathryn for all you did for us including replacing our kids meals with chicken nuggets mid-dinner, finding lanterns and lights for us when four of ours broke in transit and helping with the surprise speech by our son!

And we weren’t the only ones hugely impressed- our friends and family are still talking about the “wedding of the year” and how the staff at the Ballyliffin go above and beyond for every single guest. The only issue with our big day was when our boisterous 20 month old little girl fell as she was running about outside, and she hurt her head. anything. All our guests said they hadn't been to a wedding like it. From the minute we booked to the day after the wedding nothing was too much trouble. The day of the wedding Kathryn and Niamh catered to our every need.
The food was unbelievable and helped us have the most amazing day. We also took advantage of the rolls Royce and the driver and the car were just fabulous.

Lots of our guests also stayed overnight and had a lovely relaxing swim the next morning.

Our bridal suite was perfect. And in the evening Kathryn and the team sent us up some wedding cake, sandwiches and orange juice for us which went down such a treat.

Breakfast in bed the next morning just set off the whole stay perfectly.

I honestly cannot say how many times our guests said how wonderful the hotel and the staff was and said they will definitely be back.

We were planning our wedding from London yet the team in Ballyliffin made that so much easier with prompt answers to all our queries. We were limited to the number of visits home so the hotel organised for us to arrange as much as possible during these trips.
The hotel provided our wedding car & we had free use of the leisure centre for a year.

Madeline co-ordinated her team perfectly to ensure every guest had everything they needed. The food was piping hot, service was efficient with no guest left waiting or wanting more.

The moment we arrived at reception to decide if this was the venue to celebrate our special day with our nearest and dearest, we knew it was for us. However we did contain our excitement to say yes until the end of the detailed tour.

On our day we were made to feel unique with extremely experienced staff.

When being asked what I remember from our day, my answer is always the same... The small things. A reassuring smile that everyone is happy, a comforting chat when nervous and wedding cake that we didn't get a chance to try sitting on our pillow.

Everyone said the 13th was unlucky but we had the most amazing day all thanks to the Ballyliffin! We couldn’t have picked a better venue - a day not to be forgotten with extra touches we didn’t even think of!

The minute we booked everything was so easy, the wedding planners were so helpful! They were always on hand for any questions! Whoever said planning a wedding was hard had never dealt with the Ballyliffin lodge, they were professional but made you feel like you were the only bride in the world! We live in Belfast so we had to leave things up prior to the day, everything was set up for us, no problems at all! On the day they made us feel so so special! Getting picked up by Paddy in the car, stepping onto the red carpet, champagne in hand, the room looked perfect, the traditional music, suggested by the hotel when our singer let us down created an amazing atmosphere!
The food was fabulous, have been to many wedding since and nothing compares to it! Loved the closhes at the top table! Brilliant touch!
After dancing all night we went to our room and the hotel had left us sandwiches, wedding cake and drinks!! So thoughtful!

Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone planning their wedding. Fantastic hotel, great location and outstanding staff! Madeline in particular was amazing throughout the day. Wish we could do it again!!

We were recently married in the beautiful Lagg Chapel and had our reception in the Ballyliffin Lodge Hotel. From our initial visit to the hotel up until our check out a couple of days after the wedding Nathan and his team made the experience very smooth and …

stress free. Good correspondence, great staff at the hotel and everything on the day of our wedding was perfect. Even the weather was good!

We had wanted to put up a couple of displays at the hotel to welcome our guests and it wasn't a problem. Mickey at the guys setting up the hotel for our drinks reception had everything exactly how we had asked.

The wedding meal was delicious and also had vegetarian options. All of our guests commented on how good the meal was and the generous portions.

The suppliers that Nathan recommended were first class as well. Mary Lafferty made a beautiful cake, Inish Bow and Style decorated the room beautifully and Heaven Scent provided the bridal bouquet and wedding flowers. Everything was perfect.

I could go on but the best thing to do is, if you are looking for a beautiful hotel with great staff in a stunning location, look no further.
