I'm fully sure the reason the hotel is such a success is because it's a family run business and you can tell that from the moment you walk in every single person we met spoke to using our first names even the night after the wedding we were so well looked after we never wanted to leave
We would like to give a special mention as well to Eoin, Liz, Martin and Tyrone they were so amazing and they literally anticipated every single thing on the day before it even came out of our mouths. The kids and all our families were so well looked after, and specifically the kids. The hotel is so warm and friendly and perfect for them between the playroom which was a major success and to just have that enclosed and safe garden area for them to all run around all right
Honestly can't put into words how much we appreciate everything you've all done for us for our wedding planning right the way through to the day itself you all went above and beyond and we will never forget how we felt on our special day. It was just the most perfect and amazing day of our lives.

Immediately meeting Emma, she put us totally at ease and listened to anything we wanted. We had a small intimate wedding, and the package we chose was perfect for us. Throughout the lead up to our wedding, Emma was there to assist in any way she could. There was never a problem with anything we asked. The day itself was just brilliant from start to finish. We had our ceremony there as well, and the room was decorated beautifully. Emma and John were at hand throughout the day, so we didn't have a thing to worry about. The canape and drinks reception after the ceremony was lovely and plentiful! The meal itself was outstanding! We had asked beforehand if we could have extra choices on each course and that was no problem at all. In all, anything we asked for or asked to change coming up to the wedding was no problem at all. You can clearly see the staff and management take pride in their work and enjoy their job. They are all so genuinely friendly and helpful.

Emma did all of the heavy lifting for us, giving us the chance and space to organise other matters knowing the bulk of the work was being done by the Clanard team.

our wedding was rescheduled 4 times, however each time we felt Emma was part of our journey. Communication and consistency was key. No request was an issue. We had beautiful arrivals food, with summer punch and got our photos taken in their manicured gardens. The meal was so tasty, plentiful and they treated the two kids we have like royalty. The banqueting staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The ballroom itself is really bright and the room lighting has a great ambience. I felt this added to the atmosphere of our evening. all COVID-19 procedures were followed, giving us and our guests great peace of mind while in the hotel. The staff are friendly, helpful and very professional, we couldn’t have asked for more. suit some of our requirements (open toast instead of half bottle of wine, complimentary family room instead of double etc). As June 4th loomed, it was apparent we weren't going to get our summer wedding. Emma worked with us, and we agreed to move the date to November 19th, 2021. The staff at Clanard Court are some of the best staff I have ever encountered. We drove to the hotel on a number of occasions coming up to the wedding, and have never encountered an issue. Emma sent us a list of dates for our menu tasting, but due to other commitments we couldn't attend any of these dates, so she set up a private tasting just for us. We were treated like royalty on the night of the tasting, nothing was too much. What can I say about the day of the wedding, except that it was an absolute dream. Every little detail was taking care of by Emma and the team. We didn't have to worry about a thing. Our guests raved about the staff, and how well everything went. The hotel looked amazing. The decor, the set up, it was all just beautiful. The day was so special. Each and every one of the staff members involved in our day were incredible and couldn't do enough for us. John took over on the day and again honestly couldn't do enough for us - so welcoming to all of our guests and making sure everything went to plan. It was nice and easy flowing, nothing felt rushed for time. He was so friendly and kind and helpful to us all.

The food was to die for, absolutely everything was perfect. The gardens were beautiful for my photographs, I didn't have to go anywhere else. The rooms were gorgeous, so comfortable and newly decorated. Every one of my guests said they will be visiting The Clanard again. And, to top it off, we spent a day in the Garden Spa when our guests left and I didn't want to leave! It was amazing to unwind in the hot tub with incredible views after all the madness!

The hotel has a lovely warm friendly family vibe and the minute you arrive you feel at home there.

The bridal suite we stayed in was out of this world. It was a 5 star, huge bathroom with a free-standing bath, floor to ceiling windows with a beautiful view of the countryside, a balcony, a sitting room and lots of space. I loved getting ready there on the morning of my wedding. It was perfect.

Our guests are still talking about the food. I've been to many weddings both here and abroad but can honestly say that Mark and his team of chefs absolutely nailed it. The quality and presentation were top class.

The wedding function room leads out to the most beautiful manicured gardens that our guests could enjoy and where we had the opportunity to take some fabulous wedding photos.

The reception area and ballroom were beautifully decorated by the hotel. The ballroom leads out onto a beautiful garden area, which meant guests could enjoy a lovely outdoor space if they wished. It was also a lovely space for photographs.
The menu tasting evening was very enjoyable, and we were very happy with our choices. The food was excellent and very well presented on the day. last, Irish venue we visited, and it was love at first sight!
From the get go we met the bubbly wedding coordinator, Emma Ferris, and with one quick trip around the stunning grounds, and ballroom. we booked our date!

We did have to make one postponement, due to covid, and Emma made this extremely easy.
We went for the unforgettable package, which was unreal value for money. It included an extensive reception drinks list, superb canapés and a candy cart too. Not to mention a VIP reception for our little guests!!

Our food was definitely one of the highlights for our guests , vegans and vegetarians were catered to as well.
Everyone remarked how friendly the staff were and how beautiful the rooms were.
We didn't go for the bridal suite for ourselves, we opted for the new garden deluxe rooms, which have an outdoor terrace. They are perfect for bridal parties to get ready in! We also had a day 2 bbq in the newly purpose built outdoor area which was fabulous!
The hotel is such a cosy gorgeous place, with a spa on site. There are also amazing cocktails and luxury brekkie!!
John, the operations manager, oversaw the meal, and everything went perfectly! The night manager, Glen, even endured us singing at the end oF the night with a smile on his face!

It's worth mentioning that we had access to the leisure centre nearby, and we couldn't forget to mention the gorgeous alpacas living on the grounds of the hotel.

All in all a 10/10 for location, value for money, food, amenities, staff, photo ops, and atmosphere.

The hotel itself is immaculate, a picturesque ballroom with a private garden for you and your guests. Any time we visited the hotel, all the staff were courteous, which is a testament to the hotel management.
The service on the wedding day was more efficient than any wedding we had been at before. Despite a last-minute decision to push back on the dinner call to sit at the hotel's new outdoor bar area, we still enjoyed the drinks reception with our guests. The weather was glorious on our wedding day.

After our wedding, all our guests had glowing reviews for both the food and the hotel accommodation. The food was 5 stars, and even after our menu tasting, it still exceeded our high expectations.
John the Operations Manager was like Emma, friendly and approachable. Our families had arranged a video to be shown during the speeches, which was also last minute but John had no issues in setting up the presentation on the hotel's system.

Getting married during a pandemic can be difficult but Emma was super to work with and so very helpful. She made planning our wedding completely stress free. The hotel was spotless and made us all feel very safe to stay there.

wedding date was to be in July of this year, and like so many other couples we had to postpone, and set our new date for the end of October (thinking things would be ok). The hotel were so helpful with helping us find a date that suited all our suppliers and ourselves, no task too much. However as weeks went on and things with COVID got worse our new date was in jeopardy. Again the hotel was always in contact whether it was by phone or email to reassure us and help us in any way they could.

The week before the wedding there was so many chopping and changing of restrictions but Emma was always on the phone to me and doing what she could and making new plans. Thankfully the government kept weddings at 25 guests so we decided to plough ahead! The day itself, it was perfect! It was better than I thought it could be given the circumstances. The hotel looked amazing, the food was out of this world, all our guests raved about the food, they really went above and beyond for us even though our guest list had dropped over 90%! So, regardless of 200 or 25 guests they made our day so special, from start to finish. Even the next morning, nothing was too much. The staff from management right down to waiting staff were so friendly and helpful all day throughout.

We would 100% recommend this hotel to any newly engaged couple planning their wedding, you really cant go wrong.

Especially this year, when we had to reschedule our wedding, the Clanard Court Hotel were there to help us through. Every email was answered straight away and there was always somebody at the other end of the phone to answer any questions or concerns. Although they had many couples to help, they always had a way of making us feel like we were the most important ones and that they always had time for us. We never felt like we were a number or just one of many couples in the same boat. We were so well taken care of.

We had the best day. Our guests absolutely loved the venue. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Our guests said that by the time they were leaving, they felt like family they knew the staff so well. The food is just amazing. Our dinner was delicious and everyone was absolutely thrilled with the meal. Everything was just perfection from start to finish and nothing was too much to ask from any of the staff. The Clanard Court Hotel's attention to detail is just impeccable and I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone getting married.

We had our big day with COVID restrictions on the 26 September. Our day was magical. The best we could have imagined. We still had our photo booth and our band. I must have danced all night. The wedding had to end at 11.30 because of COVID but it didn't feel like it. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the whole day flowed so well.

I had used the make up artist from the hotel an they were so attentive. they came up to our room and did the make up of my bridesmaids and myself. I really felt pampered and beautiful.

When the 3 of us were fully ready Emma came and collected us for our ceremony, which we were able to have outside as the sun was out and the gardens in the Clanard were just beautiful.

We were able to get photos in the gardens after and I also got plenty of photos getting ready.

All our guest thoroughly enjoyed the day and some are still talking about it.

On the day itself the operations manager John amazing. He kept us in the loop with what was happening throughout the day and always made sure we were being looked after.
The food was unbelievable. We knew the food was lovely from staying at the Clanard Court on previous occasions and of course the menu tasting. However, when your guests tell you that’s the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, it’s a great feeling. Everyone was raving about the food and the overall ambiance of the hotel. The hotel is so relaxed yet they can’t do enough for you.
One thing I remember from my day is pulling up outside the hotel before the ceremony and it was raining. Emma and another member of staff were reading and waiting for me to get out of the car with umbrellas. This made me feel so special and in good hands. It may seem small, but the little touches and the way I was looked after really added to my day. They also provided the groom with the family room to get ready in the morning of the wedding at a good rate. This gave the lads plenty of extra space to get ready. They really just go above and beyond for you. Everyone at our wedding loved the day. It’s less than an hour from Dublin which makes it an deal venue if you don’t want guests to have to travel too far. Clanard Court is an amazing wedding venue.

everything on the day was so beautiful.

We live in Australia and came home to get married in November. Unable to take too much time off work we arrived only 2 weeks before our big day. Claire and Emma were amazing at answering all of our enquiries very fast and preparing everything in a calm, unpressured manner. We had lots of changes leading up to the final preparations and they accommodated it all without any hesitation. They were always just a call or email away and handled pretty much everything.

My husband's brother was unable to come and this was very upsetting news for us all. I managed to arrange with Claire and Emma (very late I might add) that we could skype him in to the speeches. It was all taken care of so well on the day by Liam and was so amazing to have our overseas family and friends involved.

The room was decorated just beautifully, so elegant, I could not have dreamt it any better.
You always have those what if moments leading up to the wedding but with Claire and Emma and all of the Clanard court staff on hand reassuring you that everything is under control, you actually can relax and just focus on your big day, knowing that everything will be organised.

wedding day approached, we watched weather reports in horror as the Beast from the East threatened to gatecrash our wedding in the worst way possible! I read story after story of hotels forced to cancel weddings because of the huge snowstorm and, with guests from the U.S. just managing to land in time before flights were grounded, my worst nightmare of my wedding not going ahead was more of a possibility.

On the morning of 1 March, the day before our wedding, I received a call from our Registrar confirming he had been directed not to travel to our wedding venue. At this point, we were devastated.

It was then that the true magic of the Clanard Court Hotel became evident. Mary Fennin, the owner, assured us that our wedding would be going ahead and personally put us in contact with another wedding celebrant who lived locally. At this point, our photographer had phoned to say he was snowed in and couldn’t make the wedding. Magically, another local photographer contacted us and offered her services.

On the morning of the wedding, it was evident that at least half of our expected guests could not travel to the wedding. We had our hearts set on the ballroom for our reception venue with its magnificent view of the hotel garden, which the snow had transformed into a winter wonderland. The amazing staff ensured that the room looked cozy and intimate.

Everything about our wedding day was magical and our beautiful, snowy wedding photos serve as a permanent reminder of our perfect wedding in the perfect venue. With over and above service, the Clanard Court delivered us the perfect wedding day.

stunning view of the garden as you enter the ballroom. That was definitely the selling point for us! It is so hard to get a venue with nice gardens for photo's or to have your ceremony in and to have the natural light coming into the ballroom while sitting for your meal, it is just stunning.

From the minute I spoke with Claire, the Wedding Coordinator, I completely felt at ease. From the very beginning, any ideas we put forward or had were always listened to and nothing was ever a problem. We were always told from the staff that 'it's your day so you can have what you want' and they meant every word. There was never any problem with asking/emailing queries, they always replied to us really quickly. Claire and Emma were great at keeping us up to date with what was needed and they made the whole planning process very easy and stress free!

On the day, we had a small ceremony in the garden and the staff made sure that everything was set up perfectly in advance and helped us to keep it very personal and private. The meal and reception ran smoothly and Gosha, who looked after us on the day, was absolutely fantastic. She kept everything moving along without any interference to us or our guests. The food was absolutely fantastic, as it was at the meal tasting evening.

All our guests commented on how amazing the food was and they couldn't get over the size of the bedrooms. They said that the staff were fantastic and they all felt so relaxed on the day and so well looked after.

I highly recommend the Clanard Court Hotel and their team to ensure that your Wedding Day really is one of the best days of your life! Thank you for everything Clanard Court!!

the more we fell in love with the place. Every staff member from reception to the wedding planners to the bar men and waitresses were so lovely. My brother fell ill a few months before our wedding and we were worried about having to move the wedding date...Clare and Emma 100% reassured me that the date could be changed without losing our deposit or the package we booked they really were amazing during a tough time.
We have 3 little dogs we wanted in our wedding and the hotel had no problem with it they organised a safe place to keep them while we were busy and allowed us to have them in the garden for photos we were so delighted.
Our day was amazing not one thing went wrong even when extra guests turned up the hotel dealt with the table planner and squeezed them in no problem. We even received a beautiful gift from the hotel left in our bridal suite for us. Many guests still talk about the food... mainly the sticky toffee pudding!!... amazing!!!!
If we were to do it all again we would absolutely pick the Clanard Court and do it all the same again.

I am so happy with my choice of venue as the Clanard turned out to be everything I hoped for in a venue and more. The wedding planners were on board with any ideas I had and were so fast to respond to queries. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and they gave great advice too, it was clear they were the experts. This helped with the build up to the big day.

As for the day itself, the staff were just incredible. The woman in charge that day took care of every little detail and made us both so relaxed. I felt like the staff were happy to be part of our wedding and you don't come across that often. As requested my reception singers sang outside on the patio while my guests sipped prosecco. The atmosphere here was something else, a memory I'll never forget. I just got goosebumps when I walked in and saw the room decorated and ready for the main event. My guests loved walking in and out of the room to the lovely landscaped gardens. It was just stunning!! The food was out of this world, but that came as no surprise as I've eaten in the Clanard a few times now and the food is always amazing. Everyone that attended my wedding is still commenting on how nice the hotel was. I must also note that I stayed in the hotel twice before the wedding and I noticed how spotlessly clean it always is. This is important and it's clear the hotel is well maintained.

After going to view the hotel I knew it was the one I wanted. We met with Claire and booked the hotel that day. I have to say Claire was amazing and always on the other end of the phone or email she put me right at ease.
We had a civil ceremony in the hotel on Friday 13th of Oct 2017 and I have to say everyone said if was beautiful and an amazing setting. Liam and his team are fantastic and looked after us like royalty and treated our children like they wer celebrities. The drinks reception was beyond words so many different options and d food went down a real treat with the guests. We had a bouncy castle in a private garden to keep the children safe. The meal was amazing and every single person told me it was the best meal they had at a wedding. John the evening manager was the nicest man and really looked after us with snacks after the wedding had finished he couldn't do enough for us.
The team at the clanard court are one in a million and I can't recommend them enough. It was the most magical day and having a hotel just to me and my guests made me feel like a queen.

No question was ignored and a panic attack at 8:30 at night was met with a comforting phone call and reassurance that the team were there for us. The day of our wedding was pure bliss, I stayed the night before and had the most relaxing night & made to feel so special everybody knew I was the bride to be and they couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The next morning I had an amazing breakfast to set me up for the day ahead. Hazel at reception was so helpful during the morning helping me with all the little bits that needed to be done.

From the ceremony to reception everything went like a dream, I knew that had everything under control and was able to get on with enjoying our day with not a worry in the world. The meal was out of this world and all the guests very extremely complimentary on the venue & food which is so important.

I could go on and on about this amazing venue but I'd be here all day, all I can say to finish it off is to say anybody getting married should choose the Clanard and I guarantee they won't be disappointed.

Everytime we went down we were made feel like it was our wedding day already and it was as if the staff were genuinely excited to be part of our day. Family and friends were hugely complimentary and impressed by the hotel. Our day went really smoothly, service at dinner was amazingly efficient with great food. As we had our children, nieces and nephews attending there is usually some pressure when kids are involved but the staff were so attentive and helpful it made it really easy for us. The gardens are perfect for everyone to stretch their legs and the little ones to run off some energy, we were lucky to get good weather so we made good use of the gardens. They are enclosed too which is great if like us you have kids attending, you can relax knowing they are safe to run around. Perfect for photos also, no need to go elsewhere for photos which allowed us more time to enjoy the day with our guests. The management and staff at the Clanard Court Hotel are the icing on the cake on such a big day, from Mary congratulating us when we arrived, Liam our wedding coordinator, always within reach throughout the day & on top of everything. The service staff were amazingly attentive, from dressing the room so beautifully to dinner service and always friendly, helpful and chatty. John looked after us into the small hours, pulling out the sandwiches just when they were needed. The bridal suite is fabulous with really beautiful little touches added.

gardens, they're stunning and we were lucky to have great weather the day we married so we made full use of them for photos and the few kids that attended had plenty of room to run around. They really do go above and beyond from start to finish.
We held a civil ceremony in the hotel, the room and decor were beautiful. The food and service were amazing, everyone loved it. They happily made any meal the kids asked for and helped arrange for a child minder to take the younger ones off to a playroom so the adults could relax during the meal. I can't compliment the staff enough, Claire and Emma were a godsend during the planning nothing is too much for them. James was so on top of every little detail on the day even running back to my room for me and grabbing the rings after remindning me i'd forgotten them! The barmen are great, we stayed a second night and the lads in the bar had us well looked after, even sending out food on the house.

We couldn't recommend this venue enough. It really is the ideal place to hold your wedding, they make sure its a day you'll never forget. I'd love to go back and do it all again :)

The wedding was amazing and both James and I had the best day of our lives (apart from when our children were born of course!). Our guests enjoyed every minute of our reception. From the moment they entered the doors of the hotel they were made feel welcome and were given the tastiest of treats along with refreshing cocktails. The children had the best time running around the enclosed garden which was great and meant all parents could relax knowing their children were safe. We had quite a few children at the wedding and the staff were great, entertaining them and providing refreshments for them in a room off the main reception area during our arrival reception. wedding they were amazing. Every single staff member we came in contact with was friendly, polite and curteous and lots of my guests mentioned the same thing to me. This is so important. Liam, the manager who looked after us on the day, actually done the thinking for us and nothing was too much trouble, he was very organised & very obliging. Emma had to deal with all the last minute adjustments and stress moments and she handled it all perfectly, keeping me calm. Martina on reception was brilliant, my guests commented on how nice and friendly she was. Everything ran like clockwork and I can honestly say the day was everything we expected and more.
The food was amazing and of such good quality. Portions were plentiful and staff kept coming with more for anyone that had room! The wine was excellent and guests loved the drinks and nibbles on arrival. These were also in great supply and kept coming once the guests were eating and drinking, the table was still half full when the guests were seated for dinner. The bar and lobby areas (and toilets) are spotlessly clean and comfortable for guests to relax whilst waiting on dinner.
The room & gardens were beautiful, I was honestly blown away when we went into the room and seen the amazing job all the staff did. The decor is tasteful and modern and the lighting and fairy back drop just add that special something.
We couldn't fault one thing but the key to their excellent service & reputation is definitely the amazing staff and all the little things they do.

venue came close. The staff from that first meeting right up to the wedding day were very helpful and professional. As many couples would have we had plenty of questions and special requests which were all dealt with very easily by wedding co-coordinators Claire and Emma.
On the day we had forgotten one or two items for our themed tables but the manager James had arranged for a staff member to run out and collect the items we forgot which was so helpful.
Throughout the day and evening the team were available to help with any requests we had.
The food at a wedding is so important and the team at the Clanard Court did an excellent job on our wedding along with the food the following morning.
Many of the compliments we got from our guests were on how well the day went and how good the food was. We were so happy with it ourselves and simply couldn't of done it without the fantastic team at the Clanard Court Hotel.

We got married in the clanard at the end of February 2016, and loved every second of it. We knew that gay marriage was on everyone's tongue towards the referendum, and although we had met with other hotels, Claire and Emma were the first to treat us like any other couple instead of a gay couple. …

This to us was hugely important. Every moment of the day was scripted out, and we even had the hotel manager coordinating our day! The staff were so helpful and professional at all times. When a few of us were still up at 4am in the residence bar, the night chef had taken upon himself to make us a few platters of sandwiches! Also all the rooms are on the complete other side of the hotel, away from the function rooms, which means you can party till all hours and your sleeping guests won't know!

We frequent the clanard at least once a month for a Sunday roast. The staff recognise us, remember our names, these are The important things.

Honestly, I'd get married again tomorrow, and would be quite happy In a loop. It was the best day of our lives, and the team in the clanard made it magical and so special. I know how hard it is choosing the right hotel for your wedding, we've been there, been to the wedding shows, met with umpteen hotel wedding coordinators. Just make the clanard the top of your list. Both wedding co-ordinators Claire & Emma were fantastic and answered any questions or concerns we had and had brilliant advice and tips to offer. The venue itself is stunning, its comfortable yet elegant, homely yet exquisite and best of all, family friendly.
The day itself was magical, and we wouldnt change one single thing. The civil ceremony was intimate and candle lit, each of our guests commented on the fabulous room we had organised for our marriage ceremony. Each and every staff member on the day added to the occasion - and were absolutely wonderful with our three children. James deserves a special mention, the manager on the day, who made a few simple suggestions on the day which blew us away, the room layout for the meal was spectacular and his thoughtfulness towards our children was genuinely touching. The food, the drink, the service, the bedrooms - second to none. And we did it all again the following night with a BBQ night. Each and everyone of our guests took the time to thank us for such a fantastic weekend, from check in to check out everyone was beaming.

I do not know if you remember myself Mark and my new husband Chris but we got married in the Hotel on Friday the 12th of Feb 2016. We both just wanted to send an open letter of thanks to you guys. I must say that since the wedding we have had nothing but the most amazing compliments from not just a few guests but every guest we have spoken too about the hotel and the wonderful staff working there. chandeliers, mood lighting and loads of nature light, looking out onto the terrace and gardens made it the perfect choice for us.

We had our ceremony also there in the Duke room which had also been refurbished, the hotel made it really special for us on the day the ceremony room was really nicely dressed and loads of tea lights around which created a real romantic atmosphere.

Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel so special on the day, from our arrival drinks reception to the very late hours!!!

The food on the day from the arrival canapes, the meal and even the fish & chips served for the evening buffet was excellent, the bar man even brought in sandwiches at 4am to the residents bar (which was well received by our guests).

We stayed for the two night package with about 40 of our guests and had a BBQ the second night which was also first class, again the staff was so friendly and accommodating.

Its almost six months since our wedding and each time we meet up with any family or friends they are still talking about the hotel and what a brilliant time they had. The staff and management at the Clanard Court really know how to make you feel at home and ensure every small detail is covered to give you the best day of your life.

numerous emails, calls & visits to the hotel I could not have wished for a more professional, personal & polished service. The Clanard Court is truly a family-run, family friendly Hotel, which was very important to John & I as we have 2 daughters under 3yrs. I cannot express aptly enough how individual the service you receive from ALL staff at the Clanard Court is. We always found everyone from reception, to bar staff to the waiting staff so unreservedly helpful, cheerful & exceptional & we visited a lot in the 12 months leading up to our wedding day as we really enjoy the fabulous food there & we live over an hours drive away. On the day everything from the drinks & canape reception to our banquet was carried out with military precision (all food was delicious & importantly "piping" hot & the drink flowed). A special thanks to the Chefs who also made both our favourite desserts in mini versions as we couldn't decide, so they made both! At the menu tasting a few weeks prior to the wedding the food was exceptional and there was plenty of very knowledgeable staff at hand to deal with any queries or requirements that we had. And also to advise us what wine would best accompany our food choices. The menu was full and varied and each dish nicer than the last.
I cannot thank our wedding co-ordinator Geraldine enough, she was always at the end of the phone with any queries we may have. She was also great in an advisory role making sure we had all the I's dotted and the T's crossed especially in the few days prior to the wedding.
The venue itself is very impressive with the extensive high ceilings and very comfortable seating in the lobby. The grounds are beautiful and we were able to take some fabulous photographs at the hotel.
All of the feedback that we got from our guest has been positive and all said that it was a great wedding. They all commented on how friendly the staff were and that the food was top notch.

I cannot recommend the Clanard Court Hotel enough. Everybody envolved made our day very special. If any couple is considering this venue we would have no hesitation in saying go for it!

Myself and John celebrated our big day in The Clanard Court Hotel in June of this year. We had such an amazing day and it really came down to the organisation that went into the day by all the staff.
We are currently living in Australia and I had thought that organising was going to be nightmare …

from so far away but when I first contacted the Clanard they were so helpful and on hand. We were home in the August of 2014 and although The Clanard Court hold specific days for menu tasting (which was not when we were home) Claire very kindly arranged an evening for us to do the menu tasting (even though she was on holidays at the time). The chef John, brought out each meal to us himself recommended what wine would go with what course and also answered any questions we had to ask. He is such a nice man and couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. With the time difference between Perth and Ireland it was quite tricky to actually talk to Claire over the phone so all the organising was simply done by email, which went so smoothly. When we arrived home we went for our second visit to the Hotel where we met Claire for the first time. She was lovely! The morning of the wedding there was a few guest blunners, I had 2 people drop out from dinner and had to change a few seating arrangements around last minute. I rang The Clanard from my wedding car and the girls were so on hand with no issues from my last minute changes. The food was amazing on the day, they catered for absolutely everyone! The kids had whatever they wanted, the fussy eaters had anything from the bar menu, the wine was continuously flowing and the catering staff were so nice and friendly! From myself and John we want to thank all the staff for their efforts especially Claire Dunne and John Doyle for everything in the 13 months leading up to the wedding. We had our wedding in the Clanard Court in March 2014. We would highly recommend it. All management & staff were very helpful and kind to us. Everything was perfect on the day.

I cannot rate them highly enough. Everything was perfect on the day. We only finalized our menu and numbers on the last week, they were so laid back and nothing was a problem.

bit late back to the reception as our photos took a bit longer than expected. They pushed back the dinner call by half an hour and it was no problem at all.
In fact the day ran so smoothly that the only time I spoke to any of the hotel staff on the day was when we were getting organized to do the speeches. They took care of everything and we had nothing to do only enjoy the day.

All of our guests really enjoyed the day and found it very relaxing and the atmosphere was very laid back and homely. They were raving about the food and the staff, how good it was and how everyone was offered a second helping of everything. Many said it was the best wedding meal they had ever gotten! The food was served to each table very quickly and efficiently. The staff are excellent.

If you are considering a venue in Kildare, then I urge you to book the Clanard Court. I have been to a lot of weddings the past couple of years and the Clanard Court will not be beaten on the quality of the service and staff, the quality of the wedding meal, the ease of organizing everything or the value for money.

I know it is a big decision to chose a venue, as its such a big day and such a big outlay, but you will not be disappointed if you chose the Clanard Court.

The hotel itself is also kept to the highest standard (reception area, ball room, grounds, bar and bedrooms) which all my guests commented on and could understand then why we had falling in love with the venue on our first visit. Also the food both on the day and the next day was exceptional all dishes where served piping hot and there was no shortage with staff ready to provide extra at any time.
We would have no problem at all recommending the hotel to anybody and hope that we get to go again and experience the brilliant service and setting as a guest, and from guests feedback this will happen very soon.

The decor in the reception area is fantastic, and when the function room is all kitted out in all its glory it is absolutely beautiful.
The wedding team were very helpful in putting together the perfect package for myself and Joe. We were able to add things in and take things out of the packages to suit both our preferences and budget, which was great.
On the day of the wedding everything was perfect. The food and drinks in the reception were gorgeous and plentiful. The meal was amazing. Every single person at the wedding was complimenting the food and I got so many people saying things such as.... "you know at weddings the food isn't always great because they are serving so many people at once, well this was fantastic, it was all steaming hot and everything arrived to the tables at the same time". We were so happy to be getting all this great feedback. The sticky toffee pudding even got a mention or two in our guest book.
Brian was looking after us on the day and he did a great job. Everything ran smoothly without a hitch... even when we realised we had forgotten the ipod with our music on it, Brian bought the song we needed on his own ipod. Thanks a mill for that Brian!!
We would highly recommend the Clanard Court Hotel to anyone planning a wedding. The most important thing to us when venue hunting was that it is classy and elegant but also modern and fun. Some other hotels are classy but give off the impression that fun is frowned upon, or they are modern but don't have the same elegance. The Clanard Court Hotel has this balance perfectly right!!

Thursday the 24th, I myself have two children so it was very important to us that it was a very family wedding with a lot of focus on the children... the meal on the eve of the wedding was amazing, the kids were treated like royalty...

Nothing was an issue for the hotel and when the day finally came we got our dream wedding and at 3pm we were married in the garden, it was a dream come true. The staff went above and beyond to look after us for the whole weekend. Everyone that attended the wedding said it was probably one of the best they had ever been to. always great there too. Nothing could have prepared us for the treatment that we received in the run up to our big day though. Claire, the wedding co-ordinator was exceptional. The line of communication was constantly open and there was no question too big or too small for her. On the day of our wedding from the time we arrived at the hotel everything was just perfect. There were plenty of drinks and canapes in the lobby for our guests and we had music entertaining the overflow in the bar. The atmosphere was brill. When the bell rang and our guests were seated that's when the hotel really shone..from the moment Timmy and I sat down the waiting staff kicked in to gear and our wine and meals were served almost immediately..the time between courses was timed perfectly and the meal, Beef or Salmon, was delicious. We both had Beef and honestly it would melt in your mouth. After the meal and speeches the room cleared for a very short turnover time to make way for the dancing. Very easy you would think it was not to be so, we went to most of the wedding showcases in our area, to be told, no we cant do the menu we wanted....no we don't allow extra vendors brought in.... you wont need that entertainment...... 14 venues later we were feeling so stressed, we gave it one last stab and went to the Clanard Court Hotel's wedding showcase, we pulled up outside to a beautiful hotel with lovely animals just pottering about on the hill. it was a very busy showcase, we walked into the reception room and immediately loved it, the tables set up beautifully and the amazing gardens visible through the end doors, we looked around to see who we could talk too, Claire the wedding coordinator introduced herself to us and very simply sold it to us there and then , she was amazing, she made us feel we were the only engaged people there, she made us feel so comfortable asking all sorts of questions, some silly but afterall we had never been married before so we needed advice, and Claire was only great at helping us without making us feel rushed. From that day to our big day she was fantastic, always replying to our emails or phone calls really quickly and boy did I have alot, as time went on and more money was saved, we would add something else to our plans. Picture the scene, you are newly engaged and walking on air! Then the planning starts, you visit hotel after hotel where a napkin costs €2, each candle costs €3 and your guests have to pay …

€10 for parking! Then, out of all the madness, you find The Clanard Court Hotel. The pictures look good and the packages seem very reasonable so you go for a visit.

As soon as we pulled up to the hotel we fell in love with it! The staff were SO welcoming, friendly and helpful! Nothing was a problem or an issue, and best of all, everything was inclusive. No €2 extra for menus or €50 flowers for the tables! So we booked and it only got better.

Throughout the run up to our wedding, Claire and her team were there every step of the way. We used to love having any reason to call into the hotel, which always had to be around lunch so we could avail of the lovely lunch menu!

Then the big day arrived! We were met with champaign and red carpet, all our guest were thoroughly looked after. We had planned to have our pictures taken outside but sadly it started to rain, but the staff quickly rearranged some furniture to allow for the photos to be taken inside which turned out lovely.
The dinner felt like a show, with a little surprise for the top table! The food was stunning, very generous helpings and well presented. The evening buffet went down very well, particularly as some sandwiches were kept back for 2am!

We can not speak highly enough about this hotel and we will defiantly be booking for a weekend next year to remember the wonderful wedding weekend we had. The only bad thing was it went too fast!

Both a bit nervous about everything running smoothly as we were having a civil ceremony and had experienced very few ourselves. We needn't have worried at all, every single thing was organised and taken care of with a precision you can't predict, we had a couple of lovely surprises on the day too, and we have to mention the food, which was important to both of us. Our guests have all commented on how lovely it was and how wonderful in particular the staff all were on the day.
We have to mention Geraldine, who we pestered for weeks and months on end with impromptu visits while deciding our venue, she always met us with a smile and was more than helpful in every single way. Also Claire our wedding coordinator, she was bombarded with emails and answered every little question and set our minds at ease that everything would be perfect for us as indeed it was.
We had never visited the hotel before we looked for our wedding venue, we did so on the recommendation of a friend on how good the food was, and we are so glad we did. We will most certainly be back often in the future!
Our wedding was amazing, the staff are unparalleled and they obviously all enjoy their jobs as the enthusiasm shines through.

thing!) and staff waiting patiently at the end of the red carpet for us! To say I felt like a star was an understatement! I was helped from the car to be offered a (the most delicious) glass of champagne ever! (I'm not big into alcohol!) From that moment to the last goodbye the next day everything was perfect. We had the most amazing day, the food was possibly the nicest meal I've had in a hotel, of which I can be fussy, I like the good old plain mash, meat and veg and upon request that is exactly what I got! They even went out of their way to provide me with an off the menu meal. Liam was there one step ahead of us all day, if we thought of something Liam already had it done! Everything was so well organised and ran so smoothly. Ourselves and our families have never heard such good reports back from friends and family about, especially the food and also the staff and the hotel itself. The layout of the hotel and especially the function room and gardens is beyond perfect for any occasion. To this day we are still meeting family and friends who are still remarking how it was the best wedding and most relaxed day they have ever enjoyed, which is something every bride and groom would love to hear I am sure.

We really could not recommend a better hotel and we only wish we could do it all again and return for the same fabulous day in the same amazing hotel. We worked closely with both Liam and Nicola, who were so accommodating and really made the day very special and perfect. They are a credit to the hotel.

All the staff were a pleasure to deal with and all our questions and queries were dealt with promptly. Adam was looking after proceedings on the day and was very professional and kept things running smoothly. The hotel is always spotless and everything we asked for on the day was delivered. The food was amazing and the wine was constantly topped up throughout the meal. The guests also loved the garden adjoining the function room and the goats and lamas were a great talking point.

The menu we choose for our day and table seating and hotel layout on the day was excptional all our guests commented on how delicious the food was and how excellent the service was. A large number of our guests stayed overnight and all commented on how comfortable the rooms were and delicious the breakfast was the following morning.

We had a civil ceramony and this room was laid out beautifully. We were lucky to get a sunny day and the hotel asissted us with seating outside so our day time singer could preform this was well received with all our guests

We danced the night way had a wonderful wedding day and could not recomnd a nicer hotel

The fact its family ran is apparent with finer details and touches all the staff put in so much efforto make your weddig day so memorable.

prior to our wedding was so helpful and made all our planning so much easier. When it came to our wedding day everything was so perfect, we can not praise the staff, service, food and venue highly enough. Our guests were raving about the food it was just beautiful. The function room was laid out beautifully and the staff were on hand the whole time ensuring everything went perfectly which it did! I would highly recommend this hotel as a wedding venue.

the lobby you get a feeling of warmth and luxury. The lobby looked beautiful on our wedding day. The guests were mingling and chatting over tea and scones while others were sipping on their favourite tipple!

We were amazed at how beautiful the ballroom looked when we made our entrance. The tables & chairs were covered in beautiful ivory covers, the tables had beautiful centrepieces with candles and flowers. It all looked so elegant.

We had a fork buffet which we were slightly worried how this would be pulled off............we didn't need to worry as the Clanard and its waiting staff had it all under control. There was no queuing for food it was all done in such an organised and professional manner.

John and I would highly recommend the Clanard Court Hotel for your wedding. The staff and management are second to none!

All the kids had fun in the garden (were we also got great photo's of our day taken) and is closed off so your kids cant wonder off. We highly recommend this hotel and can not thank the staff and management enough for making our day so perfect.

with guests coming to us complimenting it without us even asking!! And the advice and expertise provided by the hotel in assisting us to choose our menu was of great assistance. A particular thanks has to go to Amanda for here dessert recommendations – cheers Amanda!

With 37 rooms, the hotel feels extremely intimate but at no stage does it feel small. We had arranged with the hotel to block off all the rooms for our guests so it was really nice to turn every corner and see a friendly face. The design with the bedrooms on one side of the hotel and the wedding area (reception room, bar etc) on the other means that guests can party long into the night while others who are maybe all danced out can retire to their beds without being disturbed as the party continues.

We met so many wonderful people across our 10 months of dealing with the Clanard Court and every one of them displayed an enthusiasm for our wedding as if it was the first in the hotel. The brilliant staff they have are evident everywhere you go in the hotel but special mention has to go to Claire & Nicola (The Wedding Co-Ordinators) who both did so much to ensure we had the amazing day we dreamed & Adam (Duty Manager) who excelled on the day. His brilliance in dealing with both ourselves and each of our guests on the day was simply superb. Indeed many of our friends and family commented on how unobtrusive yet attentive he was from the moment we arrived at the hotel until the moment we checked out the following morning.

If you are looking for superb venue and excellent food reinforced by an amazing set of staff, then look no further than the Clanard Court Hotel.

We had our wedding in the Clanard Court on the 6th July 2013, from the first day we went to see the hotel we were treated superbly.

the feeling that the didn't take us seriously (we are young couple 26/27) or just didn't have the interest.

All the staff were a pleasure to deal with and all our questions and queries were dealt with promptly. Adam was looking after proceedings on the day and was very professional and kept things running smoothly.

The hotel is always spotless and everything we asked for on the day was delivered. The food was amazing and the wine was constantly topped up throughout the meal. The guests also loved the garden adjoining the function room and the goats and lamas were a great talking point.

Overall Julie and I are so happy we chose the Clanard Court it was absolutely perfect and we can't thank them enough. We are already looking forward to returning for our anniversary.
